VERTILAS has a strong R&D relationship with the Department of Semiconductor Technology at the Walter Schottky Institute of the Technical University of Munich in Garching. The main focus of the partnership is the further development of surface-emitting laser diodes (VCSEL) having a wavelength ranging between 1.3 and 2 µm.

ProcessEng Engineering GmbH was founded as a spin-off of the Vienna University of Technology in 2002. The company consists of scientists, technicians and economists. A special focus of our services is the measurement of gas components in harsh environments using in-situ laser diagnostics . As a result, the key components and hazardous substances can be rapidly and efficiently estimated during internal combustion, whether in flames, flue gas ducts, the gas pipes of production facilities or in the atmosphere. Permanent monitoring is thus possible on location.
